Colson Kelly, or Machine Gun Kelly is best well-known for his distinctive style of rap he employs. Baker was born into an English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A. in the 22nd of April in 1991. His parents were missionaries, and throughout his childhood, they traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother was divorced from his family when he was only nine years old. Then, Baker and his dad moved to Denver which was where they resided together with his father's aunt. Baker's poverty was the reason for the bullying of children who were around him. His first exposure to hip-hop was as he began sixth the sixth grade. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. His music blends modern, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Baker has released four mixtapes over between 2007-2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who penned lyrics at the pace of a speeding bullet experienced an explosion of popularity when 2011 was the year he made the switch from self-released mixtapes to established label. His career took off every album charting among the top ten.
